International Epilepsy Day 💜 is one of the of the many awareness days that I used to look past without giving it a 2nd thought. Simply because it didn’t impact me or anyone I knew. Then in 2018, my daughter was officially diagnosed with Epilepsy. She is one of 3.4 million+ Americans who are living with the condition, and another 150,000 are being diagnosed in America every year. There is a lot of stigma surrounding Epilepsy.
